"There's no way we can be together."*Xena to Ares*
*Ares pushing Xena away and getting stabbed*"Ares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"*Xena cradling Ares*
"I want him back,Hades.Give him back to me."*Xena pleading to Hades*
"Because he's not here."*Hades to Xena*
"It was his time."*Lachesis*
"His life thread-"*Clotho*."It ran out."
"Oh,Ares,why have you left me?"
"I'm sending you to Potadeia."
*Xena pulled out her breast dagger and put it pointing to her heart.*"I make this sacrifice in
the name of ARES!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"*Aphrodite*
"I know where Ares is."*Aphrodite*
*A raven perched on Xena's finger,as she looks in the river and she's Ares behind her*
"They still looked like mortals,but their teeth had grown into fangs and were full of
poison.A poison that can kill gods..."*Aphrodite*
"...They wanted Ares.In order to prevent that from happening again,we staged Ares'
death.We're keeping him here so that he won't be killed."*Aphrodite*
"What are they called?"*Gabrielle*
"The Demons."*Aphrodite.
"But I'd say they'd want both of them."*Athena*
"Both of them?"*Gabrielle*
"Why,both Ares and Xena,of course."*Athena*
"...she'll be their first choice."*Athena*
"Poseidon and water nymphs,
We call for help once more..."*The three in a circle,with their hands over the water,a tunnel forming.Xena stepping in to the funnel*
*Ares and Xena kissing*
Xena and Ares woke up the next morning,still in one another's embrace.Xena yawned and propped herself up on one elbow.She looked down at Ares.She walked her fingers up his chest and over her lips.She leaned down and kissed him.His eyes opened.
"Good morning."she said.
"'Morning."he replied,sitting up.
She stood up and looked at the aquamarine-glass surface above them.
She disappeared.
"Xena?"Ares asked.No response."Xena?"he sighed,and he too disappeared.
Opening theme song,etc.etc.
Commercial break.
"AHHHHHHh!What?Gabby?"Gabrielle had scooted to the opposite side of the bed,pink satin sheets pulled all the way to her chin.Joxer gasped and jumped to the opposite side of the bed.
Aphrodite appeared.
"Like,what?I'm in the middle of a massage."she pressed a delicate hand to her forehead. "Honestly,having Ar and Warrior Babe in hiding is so taxing-I couldn't sleep last night for worry."she peered into Joxer's face."Can you tell?"she asked anxiously.He shook his head."Good."
"Uh,'Dite?What is the meaning of all this?Why-"she took a deep breath"Why are we in bed together?"
"Oh,that?Cause you fell asleep together and Gabby,you look so super cute all cuddled up with him I couldn't bear to seperate you,so,here you are."
"But-"Gabby began.
"Come on.We have to go see Apollo,and then we'll visit our fine feathered friends."She pointed a finger and in a shower of pink glitter,they disappeared.
They were now in a room in one of Apollo's temples.Athena and Artemis were on either side of him.
"Good morning!"called out Aphrodite happily.
The two goddesses and the god mumbled something in reply. Apollo dropped a green liquid into the bubbling,frothing red liquid.It turned bright blue once the green liquid fell in.
"What is that?"asked Gabrielle as she walked closer.
Commercials.
"I'm working on something to kill those Demons.If my studies prove right,this should work."
"What is it?"she asked.
"I've found a way to kill the Demons."A pause."I think.Purely experimental thus far.It's 3 parts Hinds' blood,2 parts of a powered rib of Cronos,and the root of the Morphenius."
"What is Morphenius?"
"It's a root used against poison from bites.It disarms the poison by counteracting it. Hopefully it'll work against the Demons."He picked up a bright lilac root with some prongs and dropped it in.The liquid bubbled and boiled,turned pink,then white,then gold,until it settled and became clear.It looked exactly like water.
"How do you use it?"asked Gabrielle."Do you have to get the Demons to drink it,or what?"
"No,actually we have Ares and Xena drink.Hopefully it will help them fight the poison."
Aphrodite eyed Apollo.
"Yeah,what he just said."
Ares appeared in another part of their watery realm.
"Xena?"he asked."Xena?Where are you?"silence."Fine,you want me to find you,okay."
Suddenly,on top of him,looking down at him from land,came a voice.
"Ares?"it was Xena.
"Xena?WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP THERE?!"Xena tittered.
"Come on up and play."She skipped away from the edge.
Commercials.
Ares appeared in raven form.
"No,no,Ares.I want you,not a raven."
"You're supposed to be a raven."he chastised.
Xena pouted."Please,Ares?"
"Oh,alright,only for a moment."
Down in the water....
"Oh,Ares?Where are you?"she heard chatter,and she looked up.
There was Ares talking to her look-alike.She appeared in her raven form.She pulled at him.
"Ares..."he swept his hand at her.She morphed to her normal form."ARES!"she cried.He turned.
He was standing between two Xenas.He looked from one to the next.
"Ares,get away from her!"One Xena cried.
"Yes,Ares,come away from that one."Ares looked helplessly between the two.
"Ares,can't you tell me apart from the fake?"pleaded Xena #1.
"Ares,you know I'm the real one....your Warrior Princess."purred Xena #2
"Ares!"
"Ares!"Ares looked around helplessly,and scruntinized both.
They were both exactly alike.
Commercials (let's leave Ares with the two Xenas,shall we?)
"So that'll protect Ares and Xena from them."asked Gabrielle."But you said that now that they were in hiding they were safe.Right?"Aphrodite made a face."Right?"
"Welllllllllllllllllllll..."
"Sweet Zeus,Aphrodite!So they're stuck as freakin' ravens for no good reason!?"
"Well....."
"Ares,it's me,can't you see?"said Xena #1 desperately.
"Ares,are you going to believe that fake?"Xena #2 gibed.
Ares walked towards Xena #2.
"No,Ares,no!ARES!!!"The minute Ares got there,she morphed.Same black hair,but her eyes became a wicked shade of green.She grabbed his arm.
"If you really loved her,you'd be able to tell thet I vasn't the real Varrior Princess."Ares struggled against her.Xena did a flying kick at her.Dismalla giggled and shot a bolt of green light at her.Xena fell unconcious against a tree.
"Xena!"Ares called,straining against Dismalla's grip.
"Come now,Var.Ve shall go find my brothers now,jes?"With a manical laugh,the disappeared in a shower of green sparkles.
Commercials.You know the drill.
"We have to get to them and make sure they drink some."Gabby said,grabbing the bottle and gripping Aphrodite's arm.
Gabrielle showed up in the glen with Dite.They both whistled.
No response.
"Xena?"
Aphrodite gasped and pointed a shaky finger at a tree.
There lay Xena.
Gabrielle gasped and ran to Xena and began lightly slapping her face in effort to awaken her.
"Xena,wake up.Xena,come on."Gabrielle continued slapping and shaking her.Aphrodite kneeled next to her.She waved a pink quill over Xena's face.
"Warrior Babe.Snap out of it or I will kneel down in this dirt and ruin my pretty pink ensemble in effort to wake you up."she waved the feather again."Woo-hoo.Xeenie?Warrior Babe,you better snap out of it or I will be one very unhappy Goddess."still no response.Gabrielle's face was turning white.
A myriad of colored sparkles announced the arrival of Athena,Artemis,Apollo and Joxer.
"Now what's the matter?"groaned Athena,kneeling down next to Xena.
"Don't know.We just found her here,and she won't wake up."grumped Aphrodite.She apparated a pink glass vial and opened it and sprinkled on Xena's face,then held it up to her own nose and inhaled deeply.
Athena and Gabrielle looked at her,bewildered.
"Rose water."supplied Aphrodite,dabbing some on her wrists and neck before flicking some more on Xena.
Her eyes flickered open.
"Hey."whispered Gabrielle,giving her a hug.Xena struggled away from her.
"Ares?"she asked wildly,twisting about.She brought a hand to her mouth."Oh,my gods.Oh,gods.He's gone.She took him.He's gone."
Commercials
"Who took him?"asked Dite
"Who's him?"asked Joxer.Xena stood up and ran her hand through her hair.
"Ares!Ares disappeared!We woke up,and I left to see if I could find some breakfast food.When I came back,Ares was gone.I looked up and I saw him talking with my look-alike.When I went up there,he couldn't tell which was me and who was the imposter.He chose the imposter."
"Well,that's my brother.Not too bright."mused Athena.
"Wait,how do we know that she's not the imposter?"said Apollo,backing away.
"Yeah,she didn't hug Gabrielle."added Artemis.Gabrielle shook her head.
"No,but I know this is Xena."
"How?"pressed Athena.
"I know,okay?"
"Plus,if I was the imposter,why would I still be here and why would Ares be missing?"asked Xena.
"Warrior Babe's got a point there."Aphrodite said,waving her feather around.
"So,he went to the poser and she grabbed him.When I went to attack her,she sent a bolt at me and I hit this tree.That's all I remember."Athena's eyes lit up.
"Xena,what color was the bolt?"
"I don't remember...."she trailed off.
"Xena,please!This is important if we want to find Ares."Xena thought for a few seconds.
"Green.It was green."Aphrodite got a pained look.
"I'll be right back."she disappeared.She reappeared seconds later.
"The Demons are gone!"
Commercials.

*Ares tied up on the ground*"Umm.He'll be yummy,jes,brother?"Dismalla and Infidello.
"We have to find him before it's too late."*Gabrielle.
"They'll need someone is his place."*Athena*
