I watch her at night while she sleeps.
I gaze upon her sleeping form.
I wonder if she dreams sweet dreams of me,
Or of dreams with me completely out of her life.

As I look upon her face,
So peaceful in its slumber,
I wonder if she dreams of days long past,
Or of carefree days as an innocent young girl.

As I gaze upon her once more,
I wonder if she shares my dreams,
Dreams of carefree days just me and her,
Dreams of a life when I can say to her, "I love you, Xena."
And Dreams when she can tell me, "I love you too, Ares."
